BTW, the Yu fit band was up on Amazon today at 12 noon and got sold out in a few seconds.
Now this has gone up to Rs 3375, I was waiting for it to go down to Rs 1990 and hence didn't buy at Rs 2476.

I've got a kids bed delivered by fab furnish yesterday but the person hasn't come yet to assemble it. So it's still in its packed state. He should be here in another 48hrs as stated by them. Hope the bed is up to my mother and wife's expectations

re: The Online Shopping Thread

After reading few reassuring reviews about Landmark - http://www.landmarkonthenet.com on this thread, I went ahead with my first purchase

I bought Helm Field Guides - Birds of the Indian Subcontinent for just Rs 136 (approx 90 percent off )

The Online Shopping Thread-landmark.jpg

MRP of the book is Rs 1295 and it retails for Rs 600-800 on other online portals

Mates, need a help. Plan to buy a laptop for home use. No much gaming, intense use etc. So drilled down to Dell 3542 or Dell 3546. Which one would you recommend? Any suggested online sellers? Price in Dell stores are about 4k to 5k more than online store.

I purchased Asus 11.6 inch i3 with no OS for 21k from paytm, was delivered yesterday. Love the white color and bought it for the deal as don't really need one.

I use BuyHatke's compare extension on Google Chrome.

The extension notified me that the book is available for just Rs 136 on Landmark. So, went ahead and placed the order

See the price variation graph of the book :

Thanks! Does the extension snoop on your browsing? Is it safe to use? I'm a bit of a privacy / security freak...

Got a Qi charger delivered (Wireless charger). I ordered it from ebay.com on July 8th and got this delivered today (aug 3). Costed me $3.19 and it works fine with my Nexus 4.

re: The Online Shopping Thread

Looks like amazon has started shipping with ( the terrible ) India Post. I placed an order for a 32 GB sd card, and could not collect it on Friday. I told the postman calling me to visit on Monday, since Sat'day my office was closed.

I see an "attempted delivery - insufficient address" on the speedpost tracking for Sat'day. If they could locate the place on Friday, why not on Sat'day ? And this is my office address , quite impossible to miss . I think they didn't even make an attempt on Sat'day and simply updated the tracking item. I'm still hoping the delivery will be made today. This is an amazon fulfilled item.

Amazon should tie-up with more responsible courier providers instead of India Post. In contrast , I provided an incorrect pincode to a snapdeal shipment sent through xpressbees courier, and they redirected the shipment by themselves and I see it's out for delivery today.

Flipkart not offering a new piece, only a refund. :( Usually they only offer a replacement. Strange.
Good for you. Go for PS4 instead if budget permits.
