Nehru Place- Try Signetic computers,64 Siddharth Building and you can try Rashi Peripherals..!

Visit nehruplaceithub.com for the rates and dealers. Just purchase with bill and do check the importers name.

1 GB transcend should be for 1000 rupees or so..!

I bought a 2GB Kingston pen drive for Rs.995/- on futurebazaar.com. Now they have increased the price of the same to Rs.1110. Future Bazaar India: Online Shopping Site Partnered By Big Bazaar India, Buy/Shop Mobiles, Apparel, Cameras, Jewellery in India.

However their customer support is crap. They took more than a month to deliver my product because nobody is available at home when they came for delivery for the first time and they took it back. The courier company did not leave a slip or called me but sent it back to the sender. What a crappy policy when everybody in the household working is not unusual these days.

On their Indian website 1GB USB retails for Rs.10,815

Shopping at lenovo.com - ThinkPlus USB 2.0 Memory Key - 1GB - India

there are some pretty good deals on pen drives to be had on the market sections of some indian tech forums
For ex, a friend picked up a 16 GB corsair drive for 1.5k

Avoid Transcend V30. They are the slowest pendrives in 2.0 history.
Go for Transcend V10. Usually its VFM.

I was planning to buy a Pen drive which could be used as Ram in Vista. I guess it needs a fast speed Pen Drive.

Most commonly available ones are Kingston & Transcend & both of them show high speed label, Any pointers?
