Which Earphones

Hi,

In past 3 months i think i have spent like more than Rs 800+ on buying different earphones. None of the desi ones worked for more than like 2 days. The bought some philips ones and they were working great from past 2 weeks but right side earphone went kaput today now voice KAPISH...

Now i am very pissed on these earphones. I want to buy some earphones that atleast work for like 6 month damnit.. Which ones to go for. My budget is like Rs. 500 - 600.

I have to use these with laptop coz i cant carry my big headphones all the time with me...

I want something which is good and do not die on me soon...

Check out the similar thread I had started sometime back abhibh, I would suggest you to shell out some extra money and buy decent ear phones from shure, bose, sennheiser than wasting your money in parts on cheaper ones.

I've been using a set of earphones from Sennheiser which I bought for $10 about 2 years back. They are still working great, check them out I think they too are available in our market.

I have a pair of Altec Lansing earphones for listening at my ofice from the laptop. Been using them for about 2 years. No issues so far. Have some Grados at home, but they are too bulky to carry around.

Get the creative EP-630 earphones. Costs only 1200/- but are much much better than any brand in that range.
A "go" (bulk order) is being organised in Techenclave. I also have ordered mine. Go price is Rs. 880.
Hurry up i think the Go is ending soon.

Ah! My kinda topic

1st things 1st.. stay a million miles away from Bose. They are OK but way too overpriced for the performance.

For a decent performance in your budget, look for Sennheiser MX-400 / MX-500. If you dont ming clip-ons and a lil more budget get a Koss C75. Best value for money.

Ofc. if money is no concern there are always things like Westone, Ultimate Ears, Shure, etc. for earphones.
