Well deepak, I used them for almost an hour yesterday and they did a brilliant job of blocking the noise and I didnt feel a thing in my ear. Guess it's just that you need to find the right fit. And I prefer the foam ones over the others.

I also have a query regarding Earphones.
I mostly use earphones at the gym, or at noisy places. So have to crank up volume on my Creative nano, and this leads to distortion.
The reason is that the creative earphones which come with the nano are not "In-ear".
I am looking for the type which sort of create a air tightish lock, and therefore insulate me from sound, even if its loud sound.
Can't use headphones, have to use earphones, in-ear.
Budget, Rs 500

Extend a bit and get the EP 630s. As usual, the Group Order is on Techenclave.

Abt 800 bucks. It is above your budget but it is cash well spent. Trsut me on that.

I already had one EP 630 which I got in July (from the same GO where DCEite got his earphones). I ordered two more for my dad and sis.

+1 for the EP-630s. Ihave 3 pairs of them (all from GOs on TE) The best VFM plugs in that category and quiet good sound quality too.

Can they isolate your ears in high noise environments like Aircraft?
I want the "In-Ear" type which are tapered at the end

oh yes !!! They isolate outside sound very very well. The best I have experienced. Only thing which can be better thn this for noise isolation are active noise cancelling headphones.
And yes, they are In Ear type.

I have not seen any in-ear phone thats worth buying in that range. Extend your budget a lil bit and buy the EP-630.

By tapered do you mean the ones like in Etymotics or Altec Lansing? Something like the bi / tri flanges?

Image:

You can buy them separately if needed (though not found them in India). You can also look for foam tips or soft tips to suit your need.

They all will block most of outside noise (upto say 20dB).

Yes I have seen the EP-630 in white too. You might have to look around a bit for them though.

I have these from skull candy,(Rs 1k)

Senheisser doesn't have any in ear earphones among their entry level stuff,so i piced these and really can't regret.IT sounds really balanced,no unnecessary thumping bass, clear mids and crisp highs .. Sweet~!

They have also provided a really great warranty,i.e. replacement even for the slightest issue similar to apple.

I bought EP-635 as there was no white in 630. EP 635 cost me 1000/- Sounds good but the medium ear buds are too big will try on the small ones hope it sounds better then.

Thanks a lot.
