I do have nightshot on the camcorder.
Anyways,I'll have to look around and find a good one.

Kodak digital Camara C763 not good.

I am not convinced with kodak battery and picture quality of Kodak digi cam C763 which i baught few months back.

Even after full charge its getting switch off once a while taking photos. Picture quality is no where comparable with Canoon, Fuji Film digital camaras.

I am soon planning to buy Canoon or Fuji film digi cam.

Regards,

Ravi.

Sorry, i am mot aware of chennai, even for bangalore I had to ask for others help here. Since you have already posted, members aware about chennai grey markets can help you here.

You can also check on ebay, I saw some ppl from chennai selling on ebay, you can opt for COD, so that you can check.

Exchange of my digital camera-Need advice.

Hi,

I need your advices on my digital camera. The Specs are as below.
MAKE: OLYMPUS.
Model: C-310 Zoom (Olympus Camedia D-540 Zoom)
3.2 m.p
3x Op. zoom (f-2.9~5)
1.8" LCD screen.
Super macro mode (shooting from as close as 2 cm)
5 scene program.
Movie recording.
16MB memory card.

This camera is around 4 years old. I want to exchange this camera to any new make with higher specs. Can this be done ion Bangalore. If yes, then what shop. OR can I put in more memory card. I went to GKVale and he was of the opinion that I canot use higher memory card for this camera. Do you guys got any idea on this.

Nowadays, there are lot of advts in paper that Kodak cameras as they are selling as lesser rates. How is the quality/picture of Kodak Camera? Is it reliable?

Need your advice.

In continuation of the above post, can I upgrade my memory card from 16MB to 1 GB? When I asked GK Vale photo shop, (in Vijayanagar), they suggested me that the current camera is not compatiable with the new card? Is that so ?

GK Vale told you a lie.
Most cameras in 2003 support upto 4GB cards

There are definiteley better ways to get rid of something you don't like...i would have happily agreed to take it from her free of cost and of course, also bear the shipping charges.

Canon S5 IS or Sony DSC H7

As I said in my previous post, I am planning on a big-zoom DSLR-like camera.
Currently confused between the S5 IS and DSC H7

DSC H7
1. Carl Zeiss 15x optical zoom lens with 31 mm wide angle
2. Li-ion batteries
3. Cheaper than S5 IS by $50 at least

S5 IS
1. Brilliant rotating LCD
2. Super macro mode (shoot from 0 cm)

I am a bit inclined towards Sony because my current point and shoot digicam is by Sony and I love it!!

Also I love the performance of my Sony's Li-ion batteries. Still after almost 4 years, they last for almost 250-300 photos
I am not sure about the performance of AA NiMh batteries.

Also, reviews say that there is not much difference between S3 IS and S5 IS apart from higher resolution and DIGIC III processor. So is the S5 IS really worth extra cash?

You might want to include Panasonic FZ18 too.

Since you are upgrading from a point and shoot- why not an entry level DSLR?
(I recently bought the S5IS, but that was my first cam, and i was not ready for a DSLR and my budget was tight also)

Entry level DSLR plus lens will cost about $700, which is more than double the cost of S5IS.
