Restarting again did any folks got any idea to convert pdf to word. I tried links mentioned but not very useful

ok i have one idea.
There is something by the name primopdf. Its basically a printeremulator which will add as a printer in your windows and you will be able to print documents into PDF files.
Use it to split your 100 page(assuming) into 20 5 page pdf files, by printing pg1-5, pg6-10 etc.
Then use the demo stuff that you have to convert 5 pages into word.

I think it depends on what sort of pdf you are trying to convert to word.

If it is a pdf that was created originally from a word or other such program, it will be very easy to pick text from such a pdf.

If the pdf in concern is a scan or image that happens to contain text, the .doc converter must have some OCR type feature to etract the text in an editable form.

MS has a free Office add-in for this. No need for a third party freeware.

Or use Free PDF Creator - Convert to PDF from Any File You Can Print - PrimoPDF to convert even notepad documents to PDF.

@GTO - simply open the file in OpenOffice.org and use the "export directly to pdf" button.

The discussion below had changed the subject. It was more of pdf to word but it is now doc to pdf .
