Google maps mobile 2.0 - poor man's GPS

Google has launched maps for mobile 2.0, with a feature called My Location.

It calculates your location roughly, based on the signals from various towers.

I could get my location correctly from my flat, but from my office it was wrong.

Visit any of these links for more info.

Google Maps

You need to have a GPRS/WAP connection to run google maps.

Tachobells.. No offense meant..
I was wondering how someone came up with that username.. Taco Bell.. think outside the bun!

My cousin was in town a month ago,and while driving around in Downtown Houston,he was able to get every bit of info we needed through google maps. I had my GPS,but he was already looking up restaurants in the area, and made things easy for us. Pretty handy,I must say.

Nope. My Location doesn't work for India. It says "Your current location is temporarily unavailable" when I tried it.
