rex_varghese's recommendation of the HTC P3300 (a.k.a Artemis) is what I'd echo. But if it costs 22K, I think is is a bit overpriced.

If 35K is all right, the HTC Kaiser/TyTNII will be a good buy. Much better than the Artemis, has a Keyboard, and it runs WiMo6 (as against WiMo 5 in the Artemis). And the Kaiser would be much more future proof (more recent phone).

EDIT: There is a "Touch"ed version of the Artemis coming up. I've forgotten the model name :(

If a cell has inbuilt GPS receiver, it uses US defense satellites for finding the current coordinates.

HTC P3300 has GPS receiver. Now for the maps there two ways. Buy maps from the sellers or use online Google Map, which needs GPRS.

So no confusion between GPS and GPRS.

So what did you buy clipto ?

I am currently using Nokia E90 (borrowed from a friend). So far so good. All services are free except for the voice navigation.

OH my God!

Everyone is typically TBHP stylee throwing you towards the highest end of the spectrum. Nokia 6110 is all he wants. 13k anywhere in dilli.
Boys Toys: Nokia 6110 Navigator review - India Travel Forum, BCMTouring.com - anupam is a nice guy - PM him for more gyan!

It has superly updated 8 cities map with nice navigation. Only minus - bad camera but you dont need that.

PS: In India, GPS is obscenely expensive and then some more. Buying from US/SG is good and in under 10k you get vista HCx/GPSMap 60CSx, but no maps/navigation within cities like Nokia is doing. Very highly rated by anupam.

ps3300 is well rated but is 18k high street prices. you could get a wee bit cheaper.
