there are various ways of transferring files to pc.

best is using flash memory reader

Another is USB (USB2.0 is best). some phones have older cables. they are slower than bluetooth

Bluetooth is the next convenient option. best is BT2.0 which is only available in some smartphones. Otherwise BT1.2 is also good. BT 1.0 is slow.

If your phone supports Wi-fi then that is also fast.

MMS to e-mail from your phone

using edge enabled phones.(HSCSD and GPRS are also fine) basically known as OTA services where you access your server.

Infrared is almost dormant these days but may still do the job for small files.

Well normally, this is how it happens in most phones.

Open the file you want to transfer.
Open the options menu
Share/send/Bluetooth/transfer option
Search for another bluetooth device
Send
let the other guy accept
File transfer complete
enjoy.

finally found how to transfer. you need to open the file in the respective application and then send via bluetooth. for photos - in photoviewer, for docs in doc viewer, etc. but the music player has no option to send mp3 files, need to research on that.
