Are you guys also counting the "fixed type" Ac/Dc converters as well? I think the modem/keyboard/printer/laptop/ipod etc will come with its own converters which I don't need to "manage" per se. They just sit there. In fact almost all electronic equipments will have one, either inside or separate for ergonomic reasons.

If its about travel/portable chargers, yes I do have a few batter chargers, car chargers etc. I think we are talking more about converters than adapters here. IMO, adapters are passive equipments which just allow different standards to inter-operate, like plug points, sockets, splitters etc

After struggling with the explosion of adapters, I have now resorted to a simple technique. 1 USB cable with multiple interchangeable pins for my iPOD, 2 phones, bluetooth headset, external HDDs.

The only other adapter/charger I have to manage is the one for the Digicam, which resides within my laptop backpack most of the time along with the laptop charger.

  2. Mobile chargers: 3 (2 at work and 1 at home).
  3. Laptop adapter/charger: 2 ( 1 at work, 1 at home)
  4. Comp. Speaker adapter: 1
  5. Ipod charger : 1
  6. Handycam charger : 1 (didn't use in ages).
  7. External DVD-RW adapter : 1.
  8. External HDD Adapter : 1
  9. Wireless router/adapter : 1
  10. ADSL router/adapter: 1
