Yes there is a free version available, you can use it.

The iOS6 Beta - Is this available for everyone or only for registered developers at the Apple developer community? Eager to know what new interesting features it has got to offer.

Here is a preview to it.

If you are interested in tracking your expenses and account balance against a budget, try out Jumsoft Money.

I use it to track daily as well as irregular expenses. I love the clean interface and usability. It also allows specific custom reports like Credit card spending for current/previous month, cumulative earnings, etc.

I just came across this app from Mint. Looks interesting. Would try it today.

Bought iPhone 4 for wifey yesterday, but have to get the micro-sim from Airtel now. They couldn't cut the existing sim to size because it was an older version (32K).

I'm faced with one problem though - how do I transfer her contacts from her old phone (Sonyericsson Elm) to the new iPhone? I've backed up all her contacts on the microSD card.

Simplest way i can suggest you is pull all the contacts from your MicroSD card to Google contacts. Once this is done sync your iphone to Google contacts via iTunes. You need to figure out how to do the first part. Once this is done, syncing G!contacts to iphone is easy.

The first part is where I'm stuck :D When I was on Android, I had synced my contacts with my Gmail account so when I got my iPhone it was a breeze to sync the contacts.

I wonder if one can import contacts from a vcf file to one's Gmail account. Another alternative is to import the contacts via Outlook (it can read vcf file I guess), but I wanna avoid that path.

Ask Airtel folks to make a normal sim in to Micro instead of giving a Micro. This way you can retain the outer part of the SIM and insert it in your old phone, copy all the contacts on to SIM and then use the same on to Iphone and you would be good to go.

This is what I did.

Mail the. Vcfs to the linked account, and open.
Used to work for me.

Last time, I used the application MCBackup (My Contacts Backup) to backup the contacts and transfer from iPhone to iPhone 4S. The backup is created as a VCF file, and will get emailed to the specified account. Open the attachment (VCF) in the new phone, and save the contacts.

So the iPhone can read a vcf file directly and import the contacts? Does it jumble it up? I mean, if a contact has multiple numbers?

I did not find this issue. It was the first time I tried using this vcf file option. Not sure if it was because the file was generated using this app.

The above method was for my wife’s phone. In my iPhone, the contacts are always linked from my hotmail id. That way, it’s always device independent.
