| ![]() If you have not done an OS restore, you can try that also. Sometimes a corrupted app can make the phone act weird including the reboots. Also see if this happens when he is on any particular app? |

| ![]() My iphone 4s has the wifi enable button greyed out. I cannot switch wifi on and it just happened after some usage - not after any sw update. I'm quite certain its the wifi/bluetooth chip gone kaput or probably needs a reflow. Anyone know anyone who can reliably fix this in mumbai? I cant take it to the istore because it was bought in singapore. |

BHPian ![]() | ![]() Guys my dad is using Iphone 5S. Today he noticed that while the phone is charging and he uses the phone the screen behaves really weird. Sometimes it doesnt registers the touches and sometimes if he is clicking on some particular contact some other contact opens up. And the phone becomes laggy. Is it some hardware issue? |

No it's due to charging. Most touch screen phones act this way. Try changing charger point.

You would need to look at non-authorized service options, probably.

As per the comments in the link given below, it could be static current. It seems taking the case off/ cleaning the edges etc seemed to have worked. Are you using a cover/ case? Worth a try... https://discussions.apple.com/thread...rt=15&tstart=0

BHPian ![]() | ![]() I am using a case. But my dad also used iPhone 4, Iphone 5 with cases but such a thing never happened. Today again I connected my phone to the charger to see if the problem still persists but this time the phone was working fine. So I am not able to understand whether the problem is of charger or the phone. |
