As far as I heard, there is one at bangalore, where my friend services his iPhone 4 years back. As for Tamilnadu,if at all there is one,it will be in chennai and most probably be reliance digital -the biggest and exclusive authorised retailer.

@stanjohn, did u try troubleshooting by connecting to iTunes in your computer? What does the screen show? Was there any triggering incidents/ warnings before it went completely dead? Please update us.

If you haven't solved the problem already do call the apple customer support. They are quite helpful and will surely guide you.

Guys ,how's iOS 9? I think it has made my 5s a bit laggy. Though the animations have become a tad faster.

No complaints and issues so far as I have encountered no crashes or stutters in the 3 hours that Ive used my iPhone6. Another friend who also uses a 6 did complain about 3 crashes already, though.

Found the UI to have become a bit more fluid and neat. What I also noticed is that the battery consumption has dipped considerably and that is really a good thing!

Cheers,

No issues so far, liking the new stuff. No crashes or glitches till now. Animations are smooth. Battery is dying much slowly

Updating the iPad right now.

Ios 9 is still not showing up for me. I can only see 8.4.1, since I am still on 8.3.

Are you sure that its released on 16th September?

Can you please guide me as to where can I download it since I am not able to find it on the app store or via settings?

Ios 9 is available for download since last night for indian users, You need to first update your iphone to 8.4.1, After that again go to the settings and check for an update, You should see ios 9 then.

I too have updated ios 9 and it really is good, Battery life seems to be better than before as well!

Upgraded to IOS 9 on my IPhone 5C

Phone is pretty responsive compared to earlier version.

Worth a upgrade

Been on iOS 9 since morning. Not much of change, I'd say. Noticeably the fonts have changed. No lag compared to previous version. Can't say about battery yet but seems that it's one of the major improvement they are claiming.

On my 6+ the iOS 9 seems okay but it seems to be killing my wife's 4S

Re: The iPhone Thread

I tried downloading at 10:30 PM and it was smooth and file was downloaded in less than 5 minutes but then got an error while installing "Software Update Failed" found it was common across the globe from twitter hence gave it a miss. Installation was smooth without any glitches when tried at 5:30AM today.
Though iOS 9 isn't a giant leap from iOS8 at least from interface perspective, I've to say this new version had made iPhone 6 functions even smoother. No lag, no glitches and a step ahead on lean battery consumption.

Need to wait and watch for few more days and see if anything pops out but it is certain Apple is going to iron them out if at all something happens.
Cheers!
