This is still the case here. In some areas Airtel is using TDD LTE. Canadian 6S might have issues connecting to this network. Other areas where FDD LTE implementation is there, you will get network connectivity.

I hope the shops selling the iPhone in Irla have valid India warranty.
The price is lower in Dubai. From what I can check online, the 6S 64 GB is around 47k when converted to INR.

Yes, the phones being sold in Irla are with invoice and valid India warranty. Now that Apple has removed the minimum price barrier, the prices have dropped quite a bit. Stores like Reliance Digital, Croma and Vijay Sales are still selling for Rs. 62,990 though

Even my five month old iPhone got this problem, from two days. There is a click heard before the button is fully pressed. It is very annoying both due to the feel and the sound it makes. However, it is occassional. Currently I am near stuttgart with 0deg temperatures and everytime the phone is taken out it happens to show the problem. Indoors, it does not.

And the front camera has a spacer jutting out of its location which is another issue. I will get it replaced and buy the extended warranty asap.

So, I have been a diehard android fan. I have used android from the days of Samsung Galaxy S until my last android, the Note 4. Now onto the iOS bandwagon with a spanking new 6 plus 128 gb. Initial impressions - I am loving it. 😄😄

Re: The iPhone Thread

Now is a very good time to pick up an iPhone. Prices have dropped sharply.

5S is available for ~17-18K on both Amazon & PayTM.

6 16GB is available for 32K on Amazon & 30.7K on PayTM while 64 GB is around 43K on Amazon

6S 16 GB is for 41K on Amazon & 38K on PayTM while 64 GB is for ~53K.

Correct. I have the same problem with my iPad Air 2 I bought a while ago.
You really need to check which bands a device supports to ensure it will function fully in the intended area of use.

My iPhone 6S supports all bands no problem

Re: The iPhone Thread

Guys,is there anything particular i need to check while buying the iPhone 6s from Dubai?
Had read in some posts that iPhones sold in Dubai don't come with facetime.

And btw, iPhone 6s 64gb is retailing for the same price i.e 57k at Amazon & Croma as of today. 53k at Paytm. The prices are dropping every other week.

Wait for a couple of weeks; with the rumored 5se around the corner (Mar 21st); there could be a further price correction.

If you are buying in Dubai, ask for With Facetime which is generally 50-75 Dirham higher than the without facetime version. Most of the shop carry both devices.

Flipkart is offering same at 50k, I would rather suggest you to buy from flipkart. They might soon come up with bank cash back offer.

Rumours floating around say, 5S price will be halved from its current price of $399. So, it should be costing like 12-13K INR after the price cut (if it happens).

I just bought an iPhone 6S Plus 128 gb space grey from Paytm last week for about 64K INR after cash back. The deal is great and I am loving my phone. I was keeping an eye on the price for the last three months and decided this was the time to take the plunge :-)

I was also in a dilemma whether I should wait till 21st March for the release of iPhone SE. I am of the belief that while price of 5S may go down, the latest 6S models would not go down much further. In fact they may go up again once the developing market friendly SE is out.

So if you want to grab a 6S with good discount, right now seems to be a great time.
