N_C, see if the app store has got Touchpad pro. I have that on the older firmware and it uses VNC to control my movie / music players. Works wonderfully over wifi.

My cousin's friend at Airtel Corporate Office informed him that indeed the prices will come down by around 5k's each model & the unlucky few who bought it at 31k's & 36k's will get a credit of 5k's from iTunes Store Gift Cards/Vouchers/Accessories. Lets hope he's not kidding.

HTC Touch diamond is soon history, the raphael (pro) is coming..I phones are good for people with minimal needs, and maximum style mantra. Feature rich? features ditched! thats I-phones slogan...great UI no options..hmmm.. LOL! Oh and did they by any chance include video recording from their small lil camera? oops! did I hurt their ad campaign?

iPhone 2.1 update this Friday, Confirmed!

Just got this off Apple event

The iPhone update is free and will be available this Friday. iPhone owners get a 2.1 software update that “fixes lots of bugs.” Significantly improved battery life, fewer call drops, crashing problems, increased speed for iTunes backups and various other fixes.

I thought it was only Microsoft that fixes problems after releasing stuff into the market, but Apple seem to have overtaken them with the iPhone - a phone that needs a software patch to be able to make calls (and hold on to them!) is something else!

I'll have to wait for the Dev Team to crack it before I update my wife's iPharse.
