Cashify offers 7K for my S7 Edge against the 9K from Flipkart and Amazon. Better to check and then proceed.
Awaiting the iPhone X price in FK midnight today to take the plunge from S7 Edge.

Cashify quoted 25k, but I've seen people quoting upto 55k on OLX. 40k would be a price I think

Re: The iPhone Thread

Amazon was running an offer of 79,999/- for 256gb iPhone X. It's not there today when I went to buy it. It's now retailing at 1,00,000/-. Missed buying it by a day! Feels aweful.

The 64GB iPhoneX is retailing at 69999 on Amazon right now in case you are interested.

Space Grey colour of 256Gb is priced at 79,999 now in amazon. Check the price for all colours.

I know you might think I'm rubbing salt on your wounds, but I ordered that one last night. I go some discount when I chose No Cost EMI option (9months) and the final price came to 75k change.

I didn't see any point getting the iPhone Xs (that too a 64GB one) because the X can do pretty much what the Xs can and I don't need cutting edge technology (Next Generation Neural Engine, while X only has a Neural Engine - so sad ) and I'm not going to throw my phone in 2mts of water and wait for 30mins to pick it up!

I think I'm good with the X. Besides, I didn't have to sell my kidneys!

Guys luckily when my cousin was checking the site again the 79,999 iPhone popped up and I purchased it. So no hard feelings @ IronH4MK. Used SBI credit card so got the 10% discount as well. Will also take the input tax credit of gst paid in my business, so net-net the phone worked out for around 60,000/- roughly which is a good price.

Right now I am using a 7 128gb model which is 1.5 year old. The battery health has gone down and there was no way I could drag it for another year. Also the next iPhone might be way too costly again and the XS prices won't drop to the level the X has right now due to it being phased out. So decided to buy it now and use it for 3 years atleast(if the battery doesn't pack up on this one too).

Re: The iPhone Thread

Believe Silver is the most sought after color for the iPhone X. No stock in FK and usual rate in Amazon.

When FK opened the deals midnight yesterday, it was around 65K which was a steal if clubbed with exchange and all other cashbacks and instant discount. But unfortunately it was out of stock within seconds. It was kinda flash sale rather than a diwali sale. Utterly disappointed.

Re: The iPhone Thread

You guys are tempting me with all these iPhone X offers, when my original plan was to stay with my 6S for another 3 years.
Now I plan to stay away from FK, Amazon and the likes for the next few days and pick up an XS, same time next year.

True, buy a phone only when it is needed rather than succumbing to the offers

Well, hello there! First post using the iPhone X

Feels nice to hold a smaller phone after a long time! Still leaning stuff. Sad that the Team-BHP app doesn't cover the whole screen; that would have been awesome!

For some of the apps like Okta, which was using Touch ID, I had to reconfigure it to use Face ID. Besides that, the transition from iPhone 7 Plus to iPhone X was smooth.

.

Is this on Amazon or Flipkart? I purchased a Microwave oven on Flipkart and realised that they don't have the GSTIN input option anywhere like Amazon or Paytm has.
I was actually tempted with the offer on a 64GB iP XS on Flipkart. 2500 HDFC Discount + 2500 HDFC cashback + a 0% EMI was making the purchase sweet, but without GST benefits, I am not buying one.

Spoke to the helpline they said for this particular seller I won't get a gst bill. Only Apple and a select few retailers give gst invoice. But their prices are very high.
I feel it's wrong. If the retailer is paying gst then what is the harm in mentioning my gst no. I did pay the gst amount so I am entitled to the input tax credit.

Re: The iPhone Thread

Amazon India has started pre booking of the Apple Watch Series 4 which is supposed to be releasing on the 19th October in India. The GPS model with the 40mm case is Rs.40,900.00.

Was planning on buying the Apple Watch Series 3, but it looks like I'll settle for the Series 4 since the price difference is not as much between the two.

I can't seem to find the pre-booking page on Amazon, do you happen to have a link? Although I can see a pre-order page up on Flipkart. I'd rather prefer Amazon though.
