Ok. Since they are giving airpods, the earphones will not be needed. Also, the charging cable is USB C to lightning which is good. Perhaps the MacBook Air adapter can be used then.

Nevertheless, not adding a power brick is a bummer.

I think it is EARPODS, not AIRPODS.
Playing a good marketing trick stating that EARPODS in the box.

This is exactly the buyer confusion they want to benefit from.

Haha! One second. The picture/ad in the website clearly mentions Air Pods with pictures of the wireless head phones. I was referring to the Diwali offer in the Apple website.

There seems to be a lot of confusion here about the two different offers so I'll attempt to clear it up!

Apple Online Store
The Apple Online Store offers the iPhone 11 starting at Rs 54,900 for the 64GB model. The newer packaging doesn't include the charging brick, USB-A to Lightning Cable and the EarPods (wired) but does include a USB-C to Lightning Cable. Apple is, as a limited Diwali promo, including a free pair of AirPods.

Amazon
Amazon has some incredible discounts on the iPhone 11 as part of its Great Indian Festival. These phones come in the older packaging that include the charging brick, USB-A to Lightning Cable and the EarPods (wired). Amazon has discounted these phones very deeply with the 64GB variant starting at just Rs 47,999. You can save more when paying with HDFC credit/debit cards. The confusion seems to stem from the fact that for a short period, just when the sale started at 12 am on October 16, there was also an option to buy a bundle that included the AirPods at a discount. This bundle seems to have sold out for now and is no longer available.

So, to sum up, you can buy the iPhone 11 for a deep, deep discount on Amazon with the charging brick and EarPods (wired) or buy it for a higher price from the Apple Online Store with a free pair of AirPods.

I've been buying iPhones from Amazon for years, just picked another one up in this sale, and have never had a problem. Just make sure that the seller is Appario. Unfortunately, the phones seems to be in short supply and the price on the 128GB variant at least has increased by a couple of thousand rupees. Hopefully the best deals, along with adequate stock, will return during this sale!

Flipkart has some deals on the iPhone 11 Pro but their prices on the iPhone 11 are not enticing at all.

Amazon was providing Airpods, but the deal lasted for 10 mins.

The HDFC Bank discount is staggered (see the terms and conditions on Amazon) so if you’ve already used it to its limit then you will be eligible to do so again on October 18.

Nope. It clearly mentions HDFC discounts are not applicable on iPhone 11. It was till a couple of hours back.

Just got the iPhone 11 128GB for INR 59,900 along with the Air pods (FREE). Delivery on Monday - way faster than Amazon.

So, discounting the Air pods which are trading for 11k now on Amazon, the effective price is 49k for the 128GB version. Considering these were selling for >70k few days back it is one hell of a deal.

This order is actually for my girlfriend as she had to replace her 3 year old One Plus 5T. She went to sleep asking me to place the order. "You like gadgets, No"?, she said.

Yes, so at present, it makes a lot more sense to order from the Apple Website unless you dont need the Air Pods; then you save 5k by purchasing it from Amazon. Otherwise:

1. You get the 64GB version for 55K
2. You get the Air Pods which is excellent (current unavailable in Amazon but was retailing for 11k on sale; otherwise 14.9k.
This effectively brings down the price to ~40-42K.
3. Plus you get an early delivery.

Yes, they will work. You just have to use the iPad's cable with the iPad's adapter since you get a Type C cable with this one.
