Just after couple of hours of release, Iphone 2.0 already got unlocked

well i said alwayzzz , the iphone 2.0 unlocking will be a piece of cake and it is !!

reason behind is that the 2.0 beta was always there with the dev teams to play on and they have played for over months and created WINPWN/PWNAGE ,this is the tool which changes the firmware itself from the scratch and make the iphone to use that firmware

i.e. it patches the firmware to look a like the original ones and iphone is picking up it ,so there will be no issues at tall with this one

P.S. -Well to my doubt ,iphone 2.0 was already unlocked but dev teams weren't releasing it ,because if it comes before official launch then there can be chance of changing the firmware again by APPLE!!


Now the main question arises, -HOW I CAN GET HANDS ON A 3G ??
If some ones procuring it please help me out too?

To add to that actual unlocking for public will be made available soon. I guess the dev community is just ensuring that there are no surprises hidden.

So as smoking said, now the question is how to get it?

i'm sure you love paying a premium for a locked phone when you know people across the globe have to pay $199/$299 for the same. I can understand there being a premium for an unlocked phone. but why should locked ones come with high price tags?

well can you get the iphone for $199/299 ?? you have to go there accross the globe to get iphone 3g for $199 and stay there for 2 years because it's under contract! In my opinion it's rather expensive to get monthly bil of $120(which is more than 5k ) or get an INDIAN mobile connection with unlimited GPRS and cheaper call rates which will maximum cost
you 2-3k.
R u ready to pay that big amount?? (well they have trapped those customers to buy iphone from there company and in long term it's really expensive)

see locked iphone is not expensive reason behind the AT&T is subsidising the iphone for customers (REMEMBER reliance Rs.500/- phone at start)

and unlocking iphone is just playing a ping pong on your computer !!If you still facing any problem buy iphone and i'll unlock it for you free of cost ,but you need to get me an iphone too

well to that point one of my friend is there in UK right now !!
you just have to get an iphone meet him up and he'll pay you for the same!!
so my courier charges will reduce!

for the previous version of iphone 8gb, it was 20k, 3 months back at national market, unlocked piece, box piece. no idea how much it is now. and its always better to buy one new than a used one

Ok thanks. This is 18k for the old gen phone but a new piece. Was just checking, wouldnt want to buy that since the 3g has been announced anyway.

Im trying to check how much more costly the iPhone 3g is in Australia vs USA... if anyone can post it will help.

in NZ it was launched unlocked for 30000.

Australia the price is about 750-850$ AUD to buy a phone outright. Thats pricey compared to youknightedstates.

Sorry if this is question thats answered on the Apple/3g blogs but does the new version support bluetooth transfers or is it just bluetooth handsfree devices ?

Lets see if there's a way to get one shipped from the states.
