Service is bad to non-existent for almost all. A friend bought an Incredible S. He contacted the local service agency. The reply, "Since you bought it from Lucknow, go there for support". His unit is legit, and was about Rs.800 cheaper in Lucknow than from the Service Centre/Dealer here.

Agree on this. As of now I've left my device with a local technician, he also confirmed that the motherboard is dead. According to him its difficult to procure the motherboard outside of HTC service centers, but he's trying. So lets see how it goes.
BTW, why does it cost 13K? Thats more than 50% of the cost of the mobile.
