To help set the record

Downloading it off the net and finding it over the shared folders over LAN takes pretty much the same time and effort , and i have an unltd connection, so
and another install was at work

I have had one crash. I guess that's more than several months of FF2 use, but all my regular sites seem to run OK.

Running in XP set to 'classic' it does not look too flashy, and hasn't given me any usability shocks. In fact, the difference seems to be just in detail.

Sometimes, a line of ordinary text among others doesn't get diplayed properly: like a pixel or three being cut from the top of the line.

My favourite thing: whole-page zoom! Now I can enlarge stuff like comic strips to see small text properly

I like the download status on the status bar.

Firefox gets the record !!! Spread Firefox | Download Day 2008

Thanks to the support of the always amazing Mozilla community, we now hold a Guinness World Record for the most software downloaded in 24 hours. From 18:16 UTC on June 17, 2008 to 18:16 UTC on June 18, 2008, 8,002,530 people downloaded Firefox 3 and are now enjoying a safer, smarter and better Web.

I haven't had any crashes yet. I like the new interface. I think it starts up faster that ver. 2.0 too.

The only major niggle I have so far is that printing to PDF gives garbled results.

Uhhh oh. I was wondering why I could not print pdf files created by "print to file" command on FF. The printing software was giving strange errors (I use cups on Debian Sid). The way out was to use postscript output.

You can convert postscript files to pdf - depends on OS you have.

I upgraded to version 3 some days ago and i crashes on both the laptops and home PC. Even my friends are having same problem with Firefox. I only use 2 addons in it.

1. Google Toolbar
2. Stumble Upon toolbar

All the addons are updated.

It crashes more than 10 times a day. Thankfully i can restore session and no data loss.

Reverted back to Firefox 2.0.0.14 and everything is working like charm.

I look at google toolbar as "spyware". Never use it now.
No issues on WinXP at all. No crashes on any sites.
I don't use stumbleupon either

Crashes once in 2 days on my laptop. Plus a site that I use to download music is not compatible with it. (Automatic downloads don't start)
