What is your Reliability Index? - For Vista Users

I am curious to know from all Vista users, what are your System Reliabiliy Index scores? Mine is way too low now, with a handful of app crashes (explorer, some games etc) and some BSDs. It is at 2.57 today.

Mine is 7.30. It's my work laptop and it pretty stable now. Few applications crash at times but i haven't experienced a system dump after i increased the memory to 2GB.

where do you find this tool. I'd like to test my computers just for fun.
I use Vista and Leopard and find both equally good/bad.

Thanks EL,
I got 8.86 between 6-11-2007 and today.

it hit a low around the 31-1-08 I dont know why something called Speed.exe crashed 12 times that day. I like the way you can track the applications that failed and when but I cant figure out what these applications do. stuff called spoolsv.exe, jusched.exe etc...

speed.exe is most probably a NFS game. jusched is java update scheduler. Just google the exe and you can find out what it does.

Here is mine. We have had a lot of powercuts here and my ups is 3 years old needian a battery replacement.

So it seems that I (threadstarter) am the only one with a very low reliability index around here. :( Is anyone getting frequent blue screens of death? May be twice a week or so?

I don't know about Vista but in XP, you can find descriptions about most of the processes in services.msc - just type services.msc in RUN dialog box and press enter.

spoolsv.exe is the Print Spooler service, which helps you in queing print jobs. You can disable and enable services in the services.msc menu. Many un-necessary services can be disabled. For eg., spoolsv.exe can be disabled if you do not have a printer.

Cool tool.

I re-installed Vista after almost 5 months and since the last 4 days the rating has dropped as follows -

8.92
8.28
8.41
8.53
7.99 as of today.

My major problem is with the SigmaTel HD audio codec not working properly on my XPS M5130. The audio is horrible and I have been through numerous uninstalls and hangs since the last three days. And twice the hibernate didn't resume properly.

Vista home Premium.
