HT On a Budget

You are absolutely right. But for most of us, it is simply impractical to spend such huge money on purchasing 2 systems: One stereo sytem and one HT system. And 50-100K per system is huge money not only by Indian standards but even by, say US standards because same amount fetches better or higher models there.
Having said this, many (if not most) of us do want a Jack of all trades, and not true audiofile-grade systems.

Check out Cambridge audio receivers. I had similar requirements and chose Cambridge audio. Its very good value for money. It might not match the stereo receivers, but much better than quite a few receivers when it comes to music. Worth an audition for sure.

I have a fairly decent set of HT system comprising of Denon 1507 and Wharfedale 9.1 speakers with a Philips DVD player. Now I am upgrading the AVR to Marantz SR5002. I also have the Onkyo CS515 for my bedroom audio setup.

Appuchan your system seems closer to my requirements. Could you pm / post your review of the systems, both Denon/Wharfdale combo and Onkyo CS 515. Could you also let me know of the cost , dealer from where you purchased and a few photos of the speakers(wharfdales).
I am looking for deep bass and good resolution at low volumes.
