Converting 5.1 channel to Stereo

Guy anyone idea how to convert a 5.1 channel track to stereo ?

you need to remix, (left & right surrounds to mix into the right and left main channels, bass can be copied into left and right main channels.
Voice channel will go into right and left main channels.

I've not done a 5.1 remix into stereo, however basically a better option will be is using a 5.1 amplifier to receive sounds and down mix into stereo.

A PC with 2 soundcards would be needed incase you are contemplating a pc.

Do provide a diagram of your equipment may be this might shed better light on how this can be done, hardware + software is required if you intend to do it in the PC realm.

Else a studio is the best bet and cheapest.
