Sony PS3 will feature a very powerful processor newly developed by Sony Toshiba and IBM called the 'cell' though that wont be out for another year

No way dude the PS3 isnt going to be out for another year.

Heard that the "cell" proc is scalable upto 10ghz...
Think here after the games will have movie like clarity...

Well,the PS3 will surely be much much more better than the XBox 360.
But,PS3 will take another 10-15 months to hit the market,while XBox 360 is gonna be out commercially fall 2005..
Also,I've heard that Microsoft is going to Launch their Halo 3 for XBox 360 on THE SAME date as to when Sony will launch their PS 3 !!..!..well,anyway,till the PS 3 is out..XBox 360 is gonna rule..then things might change..
