Independent Nokia Repair shop in Noida/NCR?

I have a Nokia 6265 CDMA. The phone is 2 years old, hence out of warranty.
Lately it has developed a peculiar problem.
The sound volume from earpiece at max volume too is very low. Hands free and speaker phone work fine, but Earpiece is almost useless, due to poor quality of sound and very low volume.
I went to Nokia Care center and they told me they have to send it to head office in Delhi for repair. It will take atleast 20days and service charge is 1500rs minimum.

Leave aside the service charge, being without a mobile for 20 days is not my cup of tea. It seems to be a simple problem related to earpiece speaker, but as you know authorized service centers have their own rules.

So I was thinking of getting it repaired outside Nokia. Anybody here can point me to some repair center where they can do it in 1-2 days?

Hi Tanveer,

I had a similar problem in my nokia 3200. This is a speaker problem I believe and any local guy can do it in max 300 Rs. The time taken would range between 30 mins to 2 hours.

There are many hole-in-the-wall shop opposite Kaydee Audiovision in sector 18 market. As Amtak said, this won't cost much, and you'll get your mobile back in 30 mins (under any circumstances, do not leave your mobile with them).

Apart from it, do not let mobile leave from your eye contact anytime. Always have a lookout of what he guy is poking in your mobile's circuit.

Hey aZa, Give me the Phone number of the shop as well, I have got loads of cell phones at home, mostly Nokia, which need to be repaired. The Lastest addition was the N73,whose keypad has gone Kaput. The Answer and Menu key is not working, Better get it repaired and sell it off.

I hate to say this, But I am a Pretty rough user of mobile phones. I drop them quite often, Dont know why. Hence they keep getting spoiled and never got the time to actually get them fixed, so they keep piling up.

@WanderNomad: I dont like Gaffar, They usually take you for a spin and quote very less prices, Plus going to Gaffar and finding a parking spot is again a big issue.

Thanks! Got it repaired. Was a simple speaker change which took 5 minutes, and cost 250rs.
Nokia Authorized center wanted 1500rs Labor + parts charges for this along with a 20 day waiting time.

Nobody likes to go to Ghaffar as every shopkeeper looks like (most of them are) a crook. But then there are some repair shops which are good and also some good shops for stuff in grey. There is a lot of stuff which you will get in Ghaffar only like if you wish to buy a Blackberry in Grey, a General AC, a Westinghouse Refrigerator. Also some repair jobs which are best done there only (getting an O2 PDA repaired).

As far as parking is concerned, the first preference is the Metro and the second being the parking in and around Jhandewalan Metro Station and then take a Ric.

LOL.

250 rs for a speaker change? And did he open a sealed box with well labeled product, or just chinese maal from a box of odds and ends? If so, You've been had.
