The best car movies you've seen

Was just wondering what you guys consider some of the best auto or racing related movies you've seen.

Edit: I'm refering to movies primarily about cars/bikes or racing. I'm not talking about movies with good car chases such as Ronin etc.

I dont know about the movies but many moons ago there used to be a TV show called Dukes Of Hazzard. They had some funny car chases there too.

Oh my god! I knew I forgot something...

Gone in 60 Seconds

BTW, I am quoting only those movies that are mainly about cars, and not Movies with some good car scenes.

RTech, can you clarify what was your intent?

Talking about the Mini, Bourne Indentity has much better car chase scene than Italian Job.

umm guys, maybe I didn't clarify this properly, but I'm refering to movies primarily about cars/bikes or racing. I'm not talking about movies with good car chases such as Ronin etc.

My personal favorites are (in no particular order)
- The Cannonball series - First saw them as a kid and the sight of that Countach and those hot girls driving it left me speechless!

- Days of Thunder - Aside from the corny love story thrown in, it was a good movie.

- Italian Job (Old & New) - Ok, this ones blurs the line between robbery and car movie, but the movie is known for the Mini, hence it makes it to this list.

- Motorcycle Diaries : another line blurer, but an amazing movie!

- Faster - Awesome movie/documentary about modern motoGP covering the last of the 2 strokes to the current four strokes. This is THE BEST I've ever seen and a must watch whether you like bikes or not.

Biggest Joke of a movie: Driven!

Actually the Cannonball series were the first set of car movies I saw, that movie was more about goofy drivers rather than their cars...

Here is one more... Duel by Steven Spielberg, his first movie.

For your eyes only - real laught - 2CV outsmarting Pug 504's
Peacemaker - Shows how solid a w140 is
Tomorrow never dies - Techno trickery + lone BMW 7 in a car park
Matrix Reloaded - Cadillac shocker

Chase: Peacemaker
Overall: Days of Thunder, The Fast and the Furious, Cannonball Run (weren't there sequels too?), The Italian Job, Gone In 60 Seconds, The Transporter.
Biggest letdown EVER: Torque.

Gotta see Bullit. Seen the chase sequence, but not the whole flick.

Also, has anyone seen Audioslave's "Show me how to live" video? Seems it's based on a cult movie...any leads here would be appreciated!

Almost forgot -- Terminator 2: Judgement Day!!!
