Could not find any thread on BESCOM, so creating one.
Since around two years, I have always used my Citibank account to pay my BESCOM bills online. My region is E4 (Whitefield).
Since last two days, I was getting a "Cannot process your request now, try again later" message while trying to pay the bill through Citibank. Then I thought of de-registering the payee and register again.
Once I removed the payee, I could not add the payee again!! E4 was just not in the selection list.
On speaking to the Citibank customer care, they said they no longer have tie-up with BESCOM.
OK, so now I register on the BESCOM website giving my RR number. When I attempt to pay the bill, it says "No bills available". What utter nonsense!
I tried using my Manhattan and ICICI credit cards too, they don't have BESCOM listed as well.
Looks like I need to waste time standing in queue for paying my bills now onwards.
Any other way at all to make online payments for BESCOM?
Have you tried BangaloreOne website? You have to use your account number, not RR number.

They have removed some sections starting end May. Dont the know what's the reason!

As @samurai said, Bangaloreone works very well.
But @samurai, I thought it works with your region and RR number too?
On the main panel, both options are listed I think.

I have been using Bescom online payment for the last 8 months. Just yesterday I paid the bill. I haven't faced any issue so far.
Did you select Non-RAPDRP system or the RAPDRP system? Mine is the Non-RAPDRP system. Once you login, your bill should be visible.
I suggest you wait for another day. You bill should be visible.
ya me too failed to pay bescom thru citicard and had to register with bescom online payment.
bescom online website shows last months bill for me and urges me to pay it (which i had already paid in fact) :Frustrati
how on earth do i get to see the current month's bill?
My bill is visible and I even paid it up, but there doesn't seem to be any kind of receipt generated. Further, when I log back in, the amount that I paid doesn't seem to have been updated.
Any ideas on how I can take this further ?

@OXY: I use Visa bill pay - I always get notifications couple of days after I get my bill, and the site will not allow you to make extra payments.
Give it a try.
I stay in bellandur area and there is a machine where you can deposit the cash. You can finish the job in 5 to 10 mins as you are helped by some worker who login through his account and take care of the proceedings

Mine is Non-RAPDRP as well. I cannot see my bill. Might be that I had changed the bill to my name a couple of years ago (it was on my builder's name earlier), so they might not have updated those details.

When you login and go to the services page. The first two listed are:
- BESCOM Viewing and Payment of Electricity Bills By Sub Division and RR Number
- BESCOM Viewing and Payment of Electricity Bills By Account Number
Chose the first one instead of second. I just checked it now. It works.
If you have a BangaloreOne nearby, its the easiest way. I think they levy a additional charge to do it online through their website.
For BSNL, after the customer numbers were changed, paying from Citibank account stopped working too.
