I recently read in economic times that the system is already available in delhi at it's grey market and it's priced around 40-50k at present. Also read that sony say's that it will be launched in india in march 07, parallel to the release in europe.

Thats a fair price considering its next to impossible to get one even in the states. Check out ebay for current ps3 prices. I guess it would be best to wait for another say 6 months. Once the pirated discs are out itll become popular in India

PS3 is available unofficially in Palika for around 55k. Didn't ask much more details though, next week I'll go again & find out full details as to which model it is etc.
