Using an O2 Xda2 now from past 2.5 years, running on Windows Mobile 5. Its still the best pda-mobile in the market as per its size. The new ones that are coming are all more of a show gadget than a usability device, eg. the Atom, Mini, etc.

Really bored with it and want to change it, but as no other new "big screened" device is coming out, have narrowed down on the O2 Xda Orbit aka HTC Artemix, which has just launched in Germany by O2.

It as a regular 2.8" lcd, but is loaded with built-in SirFStar III GPS receiver and comes with a trackball mouse too!

Drawbacks: Slower processor.

more info:
O2 XDA ORBIT
HTC P3300 aka ARTEMIS

If you want GPS, you have a new option - the Eten X500. Eten has rebranded itself to 'Glofiish' (STRANGE NAME, but no stranger than Eten) so you might find it on the web as the Glofiish X500. AGPS, SirfStar, GSM, EDGE, WiFi, 2 mp Camera and a fast Samsung processor (I'll swear by it - its the best PDA processor out there now!) and other stuff.

Eten is very proactive with ROM upgrades too - so you wont have support issues.

CDMA is for dhoodwallas and autorickshaw drivers - why would they need a PDA?

Just kidding ! You might find a few for CDMA in the US. All the 3G-enabled devices such as the JASJAR, JASJAM, P990i, etc are equipped with CDMA chips because 3G is nothing but WCDMA (another flavour of CDMA) over GSM. No reason then for such devices not to be available on CDMA networks (other than the one mentioned above!).

Tsk, your wishes turning real. Reliance is launching a Windows Mobile CDMA phone.

The price could be around Rs. 33000. This was mentioned in the local telugu newspaper on Friday.

Guys

I am thinking of getting this phone. Cingular is a cell phone provider in the US. Any idea who actually makes this phone and if its any good.

Mpower: Your links doesn't lead to phone page. it is asking for a zip code. Anyway, i saw the phone and believe this could be manufactured by HTC.
