PC gamers and Video cards

i use a gforce fx5200 pretty decent but looking to upgrade...any suggestions.

I use the nVidia G-Force FX 5700. I think its one of the best cards u can get for the PC

I am soon to get the nvidia geforce 7800 with the xps170 .Muhahahahha!!!!!!!

btw fx cards from nvidia are meant for proffesional use in graphics designs. wonder why so many people have this card.

Office Comp (my old machine) - MSI FX5200 128 MB
2 Home comps : XFX 6800GT PCI-E 256MB - but i hardly play any games - next upgrade would be another 6800gt to enable SLI on my machine - if i can start playing games again - I play quite infrequentlly - still looking for a good flight sim - any recommendations ?

devarshi, i think the fx series cards were budget cards such as the 5200, 5600 and 5700.
It was the Quadros which were professional cards for development in OpenGL or DirectX.

7800 - nice one mate - happy gaming

ANy takers for a Team-BHP clan in counterstrike ? - I get pings of around 120-150 on some singapore servers .

Hellspawn, you can pick up a 6600GT - they're down to around 8k now

P.S - I'd recommend Colin Mcrae 4/5 , FlatOut Racing, Ford Racing 3 for car racing buffs.
Other games would be FarCry, HL2 , CS:Source , Doom3 if you like it (i found it too dark and more of a tech demonstrator). AoE 3 should be out soon as well for RTS fans.
