Nokia as good as SE or vice versa.

6630 is smartphone with 3g capabilities. 220mhz make it dazzling fast. resale will be higher but old now.

k750i has 2mp camera with flash and autofocus but not a smartphone. It is newer.cant say ab8 resale

better buy K750i

But decide what you want. smarphone or megapixel camera capabilities.

Sony Ericsson /Nokia is the same thing, actually. So buy seeing the features you want.

i would say u also take an account of no. of problems per user...look for consumer sites on the internet.......i wont say 6630 or 750i is better...as rtech seems to be happy with the system....

750i definately is a newer phone and will weigh a little more..on the pomp & show front.

personally, i will prefer nokia to a SE phone ( se phones are known to be slower)

Burnt rubber, it's apparent you have not used either the 6630 or the K750. As mentioned, I have the K750 and there are no bugs in my piece. Although there are a lot of people out there who say the screen hangs, but this was fixed in a firmware update. Menu system is way faster, screen resolution is way better and the camera is better too. Plus, it has a smaller physical size.

Rehaan has the 6630 and he doesn't seem very happy with it. Infact he says exactly the opposite of what you say about the menu speed & bugs! But, the Nokia is a "smart phone", so if karthik needs one of those, then there is really no comparision.

What i meant was that both are based on similar chips. So both will make you happy depending upon what you want, smartphone or camera

Camera could be a problem in the future

@karthik247
Do keep in mind that a MNCs and some private organisations no longer allow you to carry a camphone! Espionage and stuff.
I was recently told to deposit my K700i while visiting a relative at the GE office in New Delhi.

Buy a camera phone only if you need one. What is your current model? Is it with a camera? Do you use the cam fx often?

BTW, I have been using a K700i for the past 8 months or so and it is absolutely fab. Used a T610 and a N8210 and a J70 before that. As you will note, I am a complete SE fan and never went back to the nokia after the 8210.

SE rocks! and the RF on the newer models is brilliant - You get crystal clear comm even with one bar.

All the best

i would like more screen and cam quality than it beaing a smartphone. Also if u need a nice cool mobile, all the models have ca, i can't think on anyone without it in the 10+ or 15+ segments. And right now i have the 6230i

hi bud
i would suggest an 6680 , as far as i know the price diff between 6630 and 6680- is abt 3k. so would suggest that.
if u want a big size screen go in for a 7710, i have been using my friend's 7710 from the last 2 days, and have found it quite impressive. he picked it up for 19.8k abt a week back.

havent heard great reviews abt k750I so cant comment on that.one of my friends who has it,rates it as avg.didnt use it so cant say abt my view on it.

take care and do let us know what u have picked up.

Go for K750i since screen resolution & cam quality are your main criteria. Or wait till the N series is launched. But then they are going to be priced above 30K, so ...........

Hi Karthik,

Im pretty happy with my 6630, its just that i like to complain a lot about stupid software, which the 6630 has.
The phone is great, its just that the operating system is unresponsive, especially for a guy like me who is usually 6 keystrokes ahead.

It seems that the respect i always had for nokia with their intuitive and intelligent user interface, is no more.

I guess i would pick the 6630 over the 750i if
- i wanted a bigger screen
- wanted the "smart phone" capabilities
- wanted 3g/edge (does the 750 have?)
- didnt want the same phone as Rtech

Play around with both the phones as much as you can and then buy.

k750 is recommended over nokia 6630. But a smartphone is always a smartphone. wait for some time and Nokia and motorola are coming with new smartphones. My dreamphone will be a SE p950I with a 2mp camera and flash.
