Dont fall for the ROKR... in the first place it will take some time b4 it hits the indian shore.

And anyway, it isnt a pda phone. instead look out for tha Motorola A780, which is good.

fyi, check this abt ROKR:

Please get that person to buy me one at $750 too. Its retailing here at Dhs.4,500 which is US $1,225...will buy one at 750 because that was the price for the JAM...this one comes with UMTS, the Flexi-screen, twin cameras and video conferences, et al.

yes its true,

even the expansys people are having the imate for more than a 1000US$.

the pp950 is going to be a great phone as they are now chaging the buttons so that u dont have to open the flip everytime and it can be used with one hand.
I will wait till the n91 and the p950 are both relased and then go with the cheaper phone

yeha but I am not much of a fan of Pda's. they suck when it comes to using a lot. I like buttons. And n91's got a great feature set too.

axaully I need a top of the class phone that has a longer battery lifr among them.

I will wait for n91, p950i and Imate jasjar(already released but will wait for price fall) and buy the one that gives me the highest battery life among them.

But its funny how his requirements have stood the test of time. After three years, we still yearn for perfect integration.

And we still dont have 3G in India

How good are ASUS PDA phones they have everything+ inbuilt GPS and cost around 20K.

I have used many Asus products(motherboards, Graphic cards etc.,) and found them to be top notch.

If you want a truly budget option you have a touch screen PDA phone with everything except GPS available for around 7K . Its made in china and can take 2 sim cards, and allows facility like caller block, conference, call recording etc.,

Any idea whats the 3G standard that is being tested here?

I am waiting for BSNL to launch their EVDO service.. Not exactly 3G, but who needs video calls.. Hardly anyone makes video calls even in places where 3G is available for past few years.
