Mahindra Great Escape Game

This is a nice Mahindra Great Escape game by Mahindra. Of course, it can never give the experience of the real thing but the game is pretty good. Graphics are really nice and overall its good fun to play. You can try the game here - Mahindra Great Escape Game

@ Serpente:
The CD-ROM of this game was available @ Mahindra's stall in Auto Expo 2010 for Rs.50/-.
The game includes 2 vehicles, Bolero Stinger & Scorpio. The sound of vehicle is a typical Mahindra engine sound.

@dhrishikesh
That is great thinking by the creators of the game, the sound also adds a lot of reality to the game.

The game's quite nice, I like the fact that the maps are a bit different though initially one is prone to think the path is exactly the same except with a diff environment.

Its not one of the cheap creations, its actually quite well thought off. Though the delay in the W key (slush drive) is a bit annoying at times. I think over a period of time if you time it well it works brilliantly.

Its a long way gaming has come since those DOS car games I played about 13 years ago.

@anku94
Dave and Wolf 3D are full blown computer games. The Mahindra Great Escape Game is more of a promotional campaign from Mahindra. I haven't played Dave but yes I have tried Wolf 3D and it is nice. Apart from that some of my favorites are WarCraft, Doom, Half Life and MAx Payne. I've played both parts of the Max Payne game and I love it. Among car games I like Need For Speed.

Some aspects of the Mahindra Great Escape Game may have been inspired from some of the car games like Need For Speed - Like the way the car rolls down the slopes when you are unable to finish the game in time and the customizations. Overall the quality of the game in terms of graphics and sounds and difficulty level is good.

The movie version of Max Payne actually sucks. My friend (who had forced me into watching the movie) on the other hand really enjoyed the movie because, apparently he had played the Max Payne game. Only those who have played the Max Payne game can bear to sit through the Max Payne movie.

I tried the great escape game. its nice.
