A few queries here: Does 7.1 really make a difference over a 5.1 setup? Do DVDs come with a 7.1 track nowadays? Wouldn't so many small speakers make the overall sound too bright? Will just a single sub-woofer provide enough low end punch?

I've listened to plenty of "high-end" home theater setups at friends places and frankly found them pretty ordinary sound-wise but great in the looks department. I guess that's where the "Lifestyle" bit comes in huh? I would still go in for a powerful two channel amp with an analogue equalizer driving 12 or 15 inch three way speakers.

Cheers

i dont know about other high end systems as i was not interested in onkyo or jbl. i felt they were too bright and overtly priced.

about the performance of my system, i am very happy with the performance

Looking for a HT system with multiple inputs in India

Hi All,

I am looking for a home theatre system with multiple inputs(DVD, VCR, TV, Cassette player etc) in India(in hyderabad, chennai preferably). Any ideas where I can get one such system. I am okay with a 5.1 channel system.

Thanks,
