Lamborghini follows ferrari into the notebook-pc market

Intel and lamborghini signed a contract to manufacture lamborghini notebooks with the new intel dual conre yonah CPU's out this January. THey will be available on the lamborghini website.

The notebooks are rumoured to be manufactured by intel intself which will be a first.

IT again goes into the amd-intel fight with lamborghini-ferrari fight.

No wonder if the lamborghini notebook uses an nvidia graphics.

WEll that's what most of the gamers and proffessionals prefer. actually I have heard there are two different lambo models and one is widescreen for home entertainment and one for gamers.

asus has been the first company to turn completely carbon fibre based model company. All the asus laptops are made of carbon fibre.

I would love to own a yellow laptop but intel inside doesnt really appeal me.

Anyways Intel is losing market share big time. AMD has gained 30% market share from Intel in US and also beaten intel in Desktop sales.

What's the use of a good lambo if it doesnt have real power under the hood.

I like lambo more than ferrari but I dislike Intel more. Hence My next lappie would be the dual core ferrari 5000.

The specs are only faintly out but here is the config

Intel's Centrino Duo,
more than 1GB of memory
hard drive with over 120GB of storage
15 inch display, but weigh less than weigh less than "most" 14in notebooks.

Best feature of all though - a red light on the lid, built into the raised section that's said by Asus' designers to reflect the tail-end and grille of a 1970 Lamborghini Miura

another article

yellow is named the lamborghini VX1,
couple of funky 'air vents' on the lid to replicate that performance car feel. Intel Core Duo processor
ATI X1600
15" display.

nothin extra is known right now.
