Guys what's the best 64 GB micro SD card you can get today in terms of speed and reliability? I have a three year olds Samsung 32 GB on my moto z play now, and some of the apps like Facebook which I have moved to the card kind of hang on startup.

Moto z play reviews on this forum are bang on. Great buy.

Sandisk seems to be the most trusted/reliable one

I see something called the sandisk extreme pro which can do speeds of between 90-95 Mbps...will wait for one of these to get on a lightning deal. Should probably future proof for the life of the phone as well.

Any apps to use manual controls for video on RN3?

The default camera app does provide manual controls for White Balance and ISO in photo mode. That means the hardware supports manual control and there must be some API being exposed by the hardware abstraction layer. But the default app doesn't provide manual control in video mode. I want to specifically control the white balance, iso and frame rate. Is it possible?

Cameringo - This controls ISO and WB, it is free but does not have frame rate control

Cinema FV-5 - This seems to have all what you're asking for and it costs 150. I have used the still camera version of this "Camera FV-5" and it was very good.

There are many reliable brands, I have a good experience with Strontium. Buy a class 10 SD card for best performance.

OnePlus 3T has a good offer now. 10% off with standard chartered cc/dc and Rs.2,500 as amazon pay cashback.

Wish they bring out the 128gb on regular sale fast and hopefully with this offer :)

Thanks, will try them! :thumbs up

My Moto g4 plus is having heavy battery drain issue. Cell standby is the top most one in battery graph. I am using a Jio sim. Is this the cause for the drain?

I came across an amazing sound mod on xda and thought of sharing here - A.R.I.S.E (https://forum.xda-developers.com/and...earch-t3379709)

I'm currently using it on my redmi note 3 2GB/16GB snapdragon version with a nougat rom (NitroOS).

It can be installed via custom recovery through an AROMA installer that lets you pick and choose the different mods. I'm using Viper4arise with the corresponding profiles and man they work awesomely.

NB: This is for users familiar with rooting. I'm not responsible if anything breaks.

Mods, please feel free to remove this post if you deem it inappropriate.

Just an hour ago i kept my Nexus 5x for charging. After around 10 mins i got a call. When i went to pick it up, the phone was super hot and i noticed that the charging port and the cable is melted. Immediately cut the power and switched off the phone. Thank God that i received a call. Else it would have been disastrous!

Need your suggestions on how i can take this up with LG/Google. The phone is out of warranty and 15 months used.

Attaching a few pics for reference

Any recommendations for a cover for Redmi note 4? I could find only limited options online. Also would redmi note 3 cover also fit tis device? As far as I remember both the devices were of same size right?

Service centres will brush it off by saying, using fake power adapter, or improper power supply, power surge etc.
This is regardless of warranty status.

Unfortunately, your only option is to try making it viral: tweets and fb posts to gain their attention.

(Im assuming that you used a genuine power adapter and cable, and there was no power surge)

Even if they are of same size, speakers of RN4 will be blocked by RN3 cover (RN3 has speaker at the back side whereas RN4 has speaker at the bottom of the phone).

As far as I know, there is a difference in the shape in terms of the curvature of the back near the edges. So I doubt it would fit well.
