I think that the attached screenshot from today's Times of India should dispel all your doubts to the contrary. It is leading in India as well as the world as on date in the smartphone market too -

Titanium Blues

I had upgraded to Titanium Pro on the 27th. Yesterday I find that I am back to the Donate version. Also, if I recall correctly, a second Titanium App installed automatically by the license is also gone. One does not want to pay for it every three days.

Re: Android Thread: Phones / Apps / Mods

I have a samsung Galaxy Y. Have been using it for 2 months now. Really a very good product from Samsung. Plays games like angry birds, fruit slash etc. without any lag. Also the applications run without any lag. All in all a real VFM phone considering its available for Rs. 6850/-.

Phone usage is a really wonderful app! Have been using it for last 2 days and it is really helpful in tracking the calls and SMSes.

Re: Android Thread: Phones / Apps / Mods

Guys,

I have a basic question for Android devices.

1. How do I configure the device to download full email than just the headers. problem is most of the time I am out of reach of mobile network and it is impossible to read the emails.

2. Where does it store all emails (I am talking of the email app) by default? How do we change it?

3. How to download google map in sd card and use it without GPRS.

Thanks in advance.

dkaile I have too much respect for your intelligence but I hope you do know that TOI is hardly the most reliable source of any information. Its a sensationalist rag at best, a tabloid. And you should hardly quote a tabloid to put forth any proofs!

I m pretty sure HTC was No. 1 in US till last quarter. It was there on all technical sites like Phonearena, engadget etc (HTC had market share of 14%, Samsung 8.something %). This quarter of course Samsung might have overtaken them (but not by huge margin) as Samsung Galaxy S2 came to US this quarter only (GSM version).

Samsung was No. 1 elsewhere (by elsewhere i mean Europe. India is still a very small smartphone market.)

I went back to Titanium through the Google receipt. Finally fixed it by reinstalling the basic Titanium Backup. Found a few things on the way - TBPatcher can be removed once you upgrade, they key personal to you, so as long as you use the same google account you can get it again.

Re: Android Thread: Phones / Apps / Mods

Hello Friends,

I have been away from Team-BHP for about a month. On coming back I have read about 4 pages of this thread but couldn't find updates on new SGS2 ROMs.

Last I updated to was CheckROM HD based on XWKK5.

So whats new on the SGS2? Is there a stable ICS version out? Any reviews on the ICS?

Thanks for your help.

Re: Android Thread: Phones / Apps / Mods

Gurus- I read about the last 20 pages of this thread throughout today and am pretty sure am going ahead with the Galaxy Note.

Stores in Pune are selling this at or around MRP (34,999), while I am getting offers online for around 32K. Letsbuy.com is tossing in a Jabra BT headset free as well.

Noticed that lots of folks here have bought from that website and the COD option looks reasonably safe. Any red flags? Or will go ahead and place the order tonight.

Re: LG-P500

My LG O1 - P500 does some weird things when kept for charging. It just stops responding to our inputs, and also the screen acts as if it has a mind of its own like pressing itself, which i can only watch. This stops once, the phone is off the charge.

I am on Android 2.3.3 and Software Version LG-P500-V20C.

Please advice.

That kind of issue happen most likely due to a faulty charger.

Re: Android Thread: Phones / Apps / Mods

Need help in understanding how to flash my SGS2, have read through XDA forums but there is too much information which is confusing me. Anyone willing to help me out in understanding the flashing process for SGS2? I would be grateful for the help.
