I seriously think its the baseband which is the problem. Its something fishy that the signal maxes out at -75dbm 19asu. On 2G my usage easily used to give me 2.5 days

1. Dual core CPU
2. 1 GB RAM
3. Almost same size as a pendrive, can be hidden behind any TV
4. Rooted out of box
5. Costs just INR3,269.18 ($60)
This looks nice! But my question about all these devices is the storage - 32GB is the max.

You can plug in a portable hdd in USB to use any amount of storage 32 GB limit only applies to SD Card slot.

Usually, a NAS recommended so that storage is shared by Laptop/PC/Music system (AVR) and TV + such media devices.

Combined with this, an XBMC for android installation on this device should be the ultimate home entertainment system, and that too almost "hidden" by that size.

If not, then you could look for the apk online.
Gtalk is not on the market. You got to install apk or usually comes built in.

^^+1. Do let me know if you find it in gaffar, I highly doubt it.

Look at Portronics Limebox as well, although expensive but comes with warranty and supports external hard disk.

On Ebay it costs 5k:

Should definitely be available in Gaffar.

Have not used it myself, only looked at youtube reviews by users.

While we are on that topic, I would also recon the below

http://www.sainsmart.com/android-min...touch-pad.html

the combo of device & keyboard for around $100 is a bargain. So if one can ship it via a friend / relative or via AMAZON it would be an absolute VFM deal. I am planning to source one through US rather than get the one listed on the ebay link above.

Regards,

My Samsung Galaxy Note II (CDMA) Unboxing and Review is online here - http://www.rimweb.in/forums/topic/35...ext-big-thing/

The CDMA version is exactly like the GSM version and people can have a look and feel of the Note 2 here.

Actually, number of topics doesnt mean number of ROMs. I could see just about 4-5 major ROMs (CM, MIUI, Aurora, Oxygen etc). Rest are derivatives of MIUI/CM with some features deleted to keep them lean.

I jumped out of my seat when I read 150+ ROMs

Nonetheless, a good specced phone.
