Some points to note. The battery will see you through a day easily with low-moderate use. The screen quality is excellent. The touch response is really slick. It beats phones costing twice over. The camera is average. The claimed 8MP is a joke. However, there is next to no lag when you want to shoot a picture. The phone/processor does get warm even with light loads such as running youtube. The processor seems to be located right where the Intel logo is as that is the area where it gets warm. The ram use has not crossed 400mb. The audio quality is very acceptable from the built in stereo speakers. Have not checked the ear plugs. The charger chord is too short. Reported by many. The "O" letter stopped working a couple of days ago and this freaked me out. A reboot fixed the problem. The phone size is perfect. Easy to hold and the rubber back panel provides good grip. The power button is a little difficult to press due to the design of the phone. Played a 720P 1.9gb sized Top Gear episode. No playback issues though it was required that I download a x86 specific codec for MX Player. The colors and contrast are superb. Call quality is very good. I have noticed a lot of latency (If you can call it that) when connected to the home WiFi. It works when its just connected, then stops working and then picks ups again all the time while indicating good signal strength. I face this problem even on my Motorola Atrix 2. Turning OFF/ON the WiFi fixes the problem but the cycle repeats again. My home WiFi is WPA2 protected with MAC address filtering. I do not face any problems with my desktop or laptop so that rules out the router. At a price of 14K, there is no phone that can beat the performance and value this Xolo offers.
