What I thought was that I would log in to my PC and then use net on my Laptop and Mobile, as the wifi supports maximum of 4 points. But as i connected, the Reliance Login page appeared, cant use net without logging in and if I log in from a remote device then i log out from my PC.
Got it working using CCProxy, here is the software - Proxy Server CCProxy - Easy-to-use Proxy Software for Windows 2000/98/XP/NT/2003/Vista
Now I can use net on all the places I want, the speed is distributed though.

re: Android Thread: Phones / Apps / Mods

I just got up and saw that my 90% charged Desire HD is now at 10%, this happened yesterday also but I did not understand. The phone was on idle the whole night so why so much of battery drain. I slept at 3:30 and got up at 9:30 so only 6 hours and the complete battery is gone. Where as during the day it runs for 12 hours. This happens with my girlfriend's X10 too.

Desire HD users be happy. Gingerbread is coming your way. Second half of April is the estimated timeline.

re: Android Thread: Phones / Apps / Mods

Guys, is there any way to get sent and received messages off the call log (Android 2.2) ?

This is real irritating, since multiple calls/messages to the same person are not combined into one and invariably you end up seeing multiple entries of the same contact on your call log.

Although I own a Samsung Galaxy, I simply love some of the features offered by HTC Sense. One of my friend owns a HTC Desire HD and whenever he connects it via. USB, he is able to use the computer's net connection via the mobile. He also told me that a similar application is available on the market but I have not been able to dig out the same. If any of U guys know about it, please share.

re: Android Thread: Phones / Apps / Mods

@chetans; I used the long route. Synch from the SIM etc. to Gmail. Change phone settings and then synch the phone to contacts on GMail. Very easy and quick. Advantage is that if you lose the phone, you can be back and running in double quick time. The biggest problem in losing your phone is the contacts list.

Of course you an export to a .csv file, change settings on the phone, and then import from there. However, I will prefer the GMail route any day. A little 'loud computing'!

I've been using NDrive right from the day 1 I purchased my LG Optimus One. Mary has been guiding me everyday to office and to various locations. Even though the search is a bit cumbersome but it has most fo the details. I would say its about 95% accurate. I just typed in my office name and voila it automatically calculated the route and guided me.
