Hello Experts,
I am facing a particular issue with my Android phone. Whenever I want to play music with phone plugged into the aux-in of my car, the music stops playing randomly after every few seconds.
This happens after plugging in a wired headset of a make other than what came with the phone too.
I tried a few media players other than the stock , and this happens for all of them. Any solution for this ? I tried googling but came to no particular problem similar to mine.
The phone is a Karbonn A21 with Android 4.0.

Don't worry. If they want to sell their phones (and I bet they want to), they will reduce the prices. 199$ will go down to 50$ in a few months from now.
The "Made in USA" and customization options are the only selling points for this S3 look-alike.

Yeah, I have posted pictures here from the Ion, but all of them are resized. Its on 12mp, so the size doesnt agree with the forum.
Ive not been carrying either the digicam or the slr, using just the phone for videos and pictures, unless the occasion absolutely warrants a camera(response time).

Most probable cause is that the music player is shut down while the phone goes to sleep. Why it happens with non-stock headset is mind boggling.

Download poweramp trial and raise the audio thread priority to max and see if it resolves the issue. Basically, the phone will remain fully awake while the music plays (even if LCD is off). Do check if "destroy activity as soon as the user leaves it" is checked (ticked) in developer options and also if background process limit is set to zero.

I've had this problem with micromax tabs, wherein they adopted this ghetto solution to save RAM on an anemic single core 512MB ram device.

If your/someone else's HU supports bluetooth streaming, you should try pairing the phone with that and playing audio to zero in on the exact issue.

Don't discount it just yet. Initial benchmarks are from Moto X comparable to high-end phones. Remember this is not usual dual core phone. Their x8 architecture has 2 cores dedicated to apps. The 4 core GPU is high-end like the one in iPhone. They have 2 dedicated cores (non-ARM processors, designed by Motorola itself) for sensors and natural language processing.

Moto X is trying to stay away from the specs race like iPhone. With claimed 24 hour battery, always-on voice commands, active display notifications, more than decent 10 mp camera and color customizations, it has good chance of being successful. Average public doesn't care about cpu gpu specs. All they care about is look and feel of the phone, screen size (not density after an extent), camera and battery.

It's no way S3 look alike. It' almost the size of iPhone 5 with a 4.7 inch screen. All initial reviews suggest it's an amazing phone ergonomically. I don't think prices will go down. If they lower the prices than that will go against them as it proves that the phone is mid-range. iPhone 5 is also mid-range if you apply same logic of specs but it still sells like hotcakes here in the US.

Be practical man. I was hoping $399 for unlocked version, but that didn't happen. So I'm disappointed too. Now waiting for next Nexus. I hope all the software features of Moto X like active display and always-on voice commands make way to next Nexus. GPE version of Moto X will be definitely $500+.
