Any guesses on pricing?
Poor Battery, 2300 Mah isnt sufficent for that powerhouse of a processor. Why cant google provide higher rated battery.

Hey. I was talking about my stock 2 amp charger only. I am sure the charger unit is working fine. Need to replace only the cable. I never use USB to charge the phone since the max output is 500 ma and that charge rate is really very slow.

Well there are reports of a 3000 mah battery too. Because the service booklet lists both. Maybe different ones for 16gb/32gb versions (?).

Most of the sites are hinting at a price close to $400/450 unlocked.

Lets see what Google finally unveils.

There is an app called tubemate. You can use this to download youtube videos. This app is not available in playstore. You search this app on google and you will get the website. I have been using this app since 2 years and it is awesome.

Re: Android Thread: Phones / Apps / Mods

hi, got an 96mb OTA update for the S3. Had left the phone for charging while this downloaded. I forgot to note the version earlier before the update.
After update it is on 4.1.2, kernel 3.0.31-1292854, build no JZO54K.I9300XXEMH4

can someone let me know what was the last version current before the update please?
thanks

What I didn't like are
No memory card. 16 GB internal memory seems adequate for now.
Large form factor. Too big for the palm.
Battery not removable.
No fm radio. Sometimes it's good to listen local radio without relying on data connection.
Have ordered one

Nexus 5 should be 25k plus in India when launched (would cost 18,500Rs for base model as per various leaks) and when to India is the question. They should get the MotoX first.

Try Sky FM. Works awesome with 2G network.

Hi,

I always wanted to know what is Tapatalk used for? I see on many forums people posting with this (I come to know of this because it comes in the signature at the bottom of the post).

Do you use this app? Can I post in Team BHP using this?

Tapatalk is a generic forum application which supports posting/IM's on various forums. Team-BHP is not supported as it uses its own android application.

Team-BHP's application is basically a custom version of forumRunner which only works on android and iOS. Its basically a server plugin - instead of tapatalk, TBHP uses forumrunner.

And that's why Nokia is dead and apple market share is abysmal compared to Android , some usecases for which I use note 2

1. Taking notes in meetings/ reviews no need to carry paper and notebook.
2. Webex/gotomeeting sessions.
3. Reading ebooks/pdf.
4. Navigation.
5. Scanner
6. Wallet for all loyalty cards.
7. Banking apps of SBI, citi , icici and hdfc

I hardly have any games on note 2.

+1. Also, the S Notes are synced on cloud so no fear of misplacing that important meeting notes!

I am also looking for an app which would let me scan the Barcodes from the products i sell and let me save / export the data in an excel sheet or some form which would let me save the same.
