4x4 Off Road Game?
(
https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/gadgets-computers-software/88678-4x4-off-road-game.html)
Remember playing a 4x4 game in the late 90s with pathetic graphics but very addictive game even though I'm not the biggest fan of off roading games. Thing is, I dont have the game CD anymore and after 2 hours of googling, still no luck with finding the game.
The objective of this game is to reach the hidden Flag pole using the compass to find the direction. You also get to use winches to tackle steep climbs and the 4x4s were quite sensitive i.e., damage prone quite easily. The turn signal indicators used to work automatically whenever the direction keys are used to steer the 4x4s. Speed was definitely not the motive of the game, it was a very very slow speed game.
Can someone help finding the name of this game please. I tried Screamer 4x4 but thats not the one.
I tried a lot to find good 4X4 games, but never got a real one. There are some games for consoles but not for PC. The only one I remember is of Hummer and UAZ. But none of them have innovative nature. It gets boring after a while as things are repetitive. In UAZ one has options to lock differentials and is good, but not enough.
I used to play 4X4 EVO2 years ago, havent really played it siince long.
but i still have the disc with me i guess.

If my memory does not trick me, the game you are talking about is : INSANE :)
Screamer 4X4 is the best off-road game i have ever come across.
The Vehicles included are LR Defender, Jeep CJ5, Toyota Landcruiser, Jeep Cherokee, Mitsubishi Shogun(SWB Montero), Merc G, Toyota Hilux monster truck, Merc Unimog and 6X6 Army truck(don't remember the name). The dynamics are quite realistic with lots of choices for Engines, Diff locks, tires, transmission etc.
Overall I love this game. A very good time pass in free roam mode. The graphics obviously belong to the bygone era.
