Its not about whats better its about what you want and whats your budget. They are all essentially the same just the difference being.

8300 - NA - 10~11k
8310 - GPS - 11 ~ 13k
8320 - GPS WiFi - 13~15k

Never had a thing for fancy numbers unless they were 46

Yes you're right!
8300 is dropped from the wish list. Now it is either 8310 or 8320. But see, 8320 has only Wi-Fi and no GPS, so, i have to decide whether to have GPS or Wi-Fi.

@shajufx

I never thought i'd have the same issues as you did with Airtel. Since the past few days their Blackberry services have been very irregular here in Bombay. Even today where i am in Andheri East, blackberry is down. I just had enough of their attitude. I went half an hour back to Vodafone (had my old 98200 series number working) and have got blackberry activated. Will be active within 4 hours. Also with bad signal issues i decided once and for all, enough is enough.

Ha ha, maybe you should call Abhishek maybe he will badalde your duniya.

But seriously guys, it feels so stupid that many flagship stores arnt trained or informed properly about many VAS things. Sometimes you have to dig up the dirt yourself. If it wouldnt have been for t-bhp I dont think I would have found out about the new 300 Rs plan.

They have just launched the service so I think they are training their staff in phased manner. Good thing is that they have atleast started providing the service.

The worst part is their retention department. I had surrendered my connection on 15th Jan 2009 after literally getting frustrated with the 40 days long complaints and troubles. I had given my new Vodafone number at the surrendering time as a back up for any formalities remaining. Now they keep calling me every 5 days declaring that "You are the chosen platinum customer since 3 years and we have a special team to take care of your issues etc. Please continue using the number with 10% discont on bills etc." and what not !! I wonder where their service disappeared in my 'suffering' days. I remember I had repeatedely told them "I would cancel the number if the issue is not solved once and for all". And nobody cared.

I walk out.
If Airtel and Vodafone can not provide a quality service with their 'top-class' service and support team, I wonder how a newcomer in BB field will even create a good will.

Same here, I never got any intimation from any providers about the new BB plan. May be they purposely dont want to inform clients who have used the unlimited plan

Sad and good news

A T-Bhpian has made good on a offer on my Bold so its sold now. But now I have officially owned and used every blackberry in their portfolio (bearing the original Blackberry Pager) Say hello to the new member of the family.

Blackberry Phones and Services in India-photo-193.jpg

"Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel
Was just a freight train coming your way"

Have been using this thing for a couple of hours.

Will miss :

Bold's leather back, stereophonic speakers, huge screen (compared to the Jav), Attitude (its considered top-of-the-line-bragging-rights) Charging dock.

Like :

Curve KB (Maybe I was always a 8xxx series KB person), Small really small, Really light has the plastic toy feel of the old curve which me likes, Did I mention its a new berry?

What is the damage of having used all berries so far ?
I keep myself restricted in upgrading from Pearl just because of this losing factor. Every resale and new buy is a loss of money, unless you get them as promotional offers straight from RIM. Hope you are not doing a project on "Emergence, development and growth of berries in the world" !!
