1. How do I get old emails into the device? As of now, I've configured my work email, Gmail and Yahoo (all thru BIS). However, it has mails from the time I configured them today. I would ideally like mails from the last 30 days.
Can someone help me with this?

I am not a BB user. But a search provided this:

Sync old emails on BES - BlackBerryForums.com : Your Number One BlackBerry Community

Nothing else that I checked was helpful.

2) 8900 - Everything is great - except lack of 3g.
3) 9700 - 31 K is a lot of money!!

Hey guys I updated to the latest operating s/w for my BB 8520 5.0.0.509

The problem now is that after I installed the desktop s/w the Windows XP OS has started to crash (the deadly blue screen)
This started happening last time I installed the desktop os (about 10 days back when I bought the BB) and then after I uninstalled the BB Desktop s/w the Windows XP worked fine for a week.

What should be done??
Any help info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Harjeev,

Looks like an IRQ issue to me, try installing Desktop Manager just after clean installation (Without installing any drivers of any external device)

To view PDF files you need to have a PDF viewer, like Beam Reader or RepliGo, but they're not free. I am looking for a free and good PDF reader.

hey buddy
It is an IRQ issue but I am not able to solve it.
I have again removed the Blackberry desktop s/w from my laptop and now will install the application on a standalone machine

Doesn't seem to work

Anyways
What is the best way (read cheapest) if I want to use the BB on my phone internationally. I will be off to thailand for 10 days in June.

Will it be cheaper if I use the International roaming ( but I do not want to rake in bills of '000 of bucks) OR
I should buy a cash card and use that
take a pre-paid connection from thailand itself and use the BB service (does it work this way) I am assuming that it should work this way as the BB pin is assigned to the phone only

Please advise
