Guys, we are going to get my 15 year old brother a blackberry in a couple of days. He wants a blackberry for bbm. I'm thinking of a curve 9320. ie the new curve 3g the one with the 3.2 mp camera and flash. Anyone using this phone? any pointers or suggestions for another blackberry model? Not more than 14-15k.

Hey guys my 8520 Curve's stupid trackpad has started acting up since 2 days. It works sometimes and it doesn't work sometimes. I don't know what's wrong.
It gets really irritating when I get a bbm message and I can't scroll over and open it.
How much would a used bold 2 cost in mumbai now? I'll use it as my only phone for a couple of months and then I'm getting the iPhone in oct so after that I'll use the bb only for bbm.

Pardon me for asking the obvious but have you tried doing a battery pull? If yes and the problem still persists, then a trackpad would set you back by 300 bucks or so.

How old is your Curve 8520? If its less than 18 months rim will fix it for free under warranty. Downside is that they take ten working days.
Else, in gurgaon where I live mobile shops around here replace trackpads and make it as good as new in 20 mins flat ! They charge 700-800. I'm sure you'd find similar places in bombay.

It's probably a weird shortcut. Probably the same reason how when i type hr it becomes hour and if I type min it becomes minute. Shortcut codes perhaps.

It's probably a weird shortcut. Probably the same reason how when i type hr it becomes hour and if I type min it becomes minute. Shortcut codes perhaps.

My curve is 1 year old but I've already void the warranty but opening the phone up to replace the body.
Btw it started working properly today as if nothing has happened !
Btw if you type 7:28:55 PM and press space then it will display the exact time.
