Since last few days, Whenever i click a link to upgrade the app to newer version, it takes me to log in page of app world and when i type the right password, it gives an error " Unable to Log you in". Note, there is no error id or number.

How do i resolve this issue? I am still on 7.0. version and havent yet upgraded to 7.1 OS

To be honest, I am a huge blackberry fan but, some of these issues are making me begining to think if my loyalty towards blackberry is a thing of past

Mobike,

Try this-

Few users have tried downloading the app from blackberry appworld on their pc and updated the device via Desktop manager which seems to have resolved the issue.Looks like its a known issue these days.

There is this online link to reset BB App world password as well

Is anyone using Blackberry on a pre-paid number? I wanted to know the cost of having FB+Twitter+Whatsapp+BBM on a pre-paid connection.

Hi,
To use the above services on the Blackberry on Airtel network then you need to activate the Rs399 plan where you can browse the Internet and get mails plus all services you have mentioned work on this plan.

Im using vodafone prepaid. I pay 399 PM for all this. However vodafone has some technical issues and they keep deducting balance randomly
Also, the customer care executive told me that according to the new circular by vodafone we need to pay 399+99 if we want to use 3rd party apps like fb, whatsapp, opera mini etc. Pretty useless.
But I still continue to use only the 399 plan and haven't faced issues with 3rd party apps yet.

You need to pay 399 just for using the blackberry data plan. This is apart from the recharge you need to make for making voice calls. Am talking about data on the Airtel network.

I heard this from a VF CSR as well. I dont understand the logic behind this. Has this already been enforced?

Re: Blackberry Phones and Services in India

I think I got the cheapest BB scheme in the country with 3G unlimited too. on Aircel. Pay Rs.3,333 per annum and you get unlimited BIS along with 3G. If Aircel is decent enough in your city, you should go for it. In Tamilnadu it rocks. And in Bangalore, although its a new operator its not bad.

Not sure whether they have employed this or not. I'm still using many third party apps without doing that extra recharge.
Btw I got an sms from vodafone saying that I have 75 MB free data usage till a certain period of time.

Oh and I complained to the vodafone fb and twitter page about the random balance deductions and got a call the next day saying that they are facing a technical issue and that's why that's happening.
But it hasn't happened since 3 days now.

Re: Blackberry Phones and Services in India

Hey guys the Blackberry 10 devices are getting ready for the launch. RIM has confirmed that the new devices will require a data plan like the current phones. They are being tested with 50 carriers, and around 5000 phones are handed to the developers for app development. Expected to launch in the first quarter of 2013. Hope they price it well.

They will be launching 2 new devices. So looking forward to some great devices from them. Hope they show the world what they can really do.
The BB 10 reviews and images can be seen here.

NOTE: The DEV Alpha is not the actual phone.

Technical issue? Don't tell me you buy that?! How come such technical issues don't ocasionally credit our accounts with some cash? Its obviously no technical issue but grand theft. Grand because even a small amount from each operator results in millions of loot for the operators. And most operators have been doing it. Airtel on the grandest scale. Just the other day Reliance started deducting from my balance again. This after a gap of over a year since last time I created quite a fiasco. Today they again reversed it. Lets see when the dacoits strike again.

This would be covered as long as moisture sensor does not indicate presence of moisture on LCD or Motherboard.

Location of this sensor is :

http://www.blackberryforums.com.au/f...html#post21624

If this is not covered in warranty, cost of replacement would be around 700 in local shops and around 3k in BlackBerry service centers.
