Which shop has all three cameras? What add-on - The extra battery grip?

Thanks.

Yes, I meant that extra battery grip that could be attached to the right hand side. I kind of felt a bit uncomfortable to hold the OMD without the grip.

Shop info won't help you, he appears to be living in Germany.

You got me right! Electronics here are like groceries and available everywhere! I visited a Camera handler and he has every range of Cameras that is available. Many times, I had to pass through his shop and just a glance at his window, you could see at least a hundred variety of Cameras.

re: Mirrorless or EVIL Cameras

Fuji X-E1 announced today. Here is a full review of the Camera

http://www.techradar.com/reviews/cam...1094565/review

It is interesting to know that the AF is much better and comparable to that of the OMD. I seriously doubt that.

I guess the Sony NEX 6 will be announced next week. Eagerly waiting for more updates on that.

First few tries with OMD-EM5, not with 12-50 lens, but with 14-42 lens

re: Mirrorless or EVIL Cameras

Just came to know that there is going to be a Sony NEX Pro Camera that will be released for this Photokina 2012. This new Camera is in addition to the already known NEX 5R and NEX 6 that was making the news in the last months. My guess is this could be the successor to the NEX 7 and would be a direct competitor to the Fuji X Pro 1. Looks like Sony is doing a lot this time with its new Cameras and a couple of new lenses.

Sony can go on making better and better NEX cameras, but where are the lenses? I really like their recent models, but without lenses, it is pointless.

I saw pics that showed the battery grip goes below to extend the height of the body. Is it a L shape that also extends the right side?

Ok India is not Germany, I will just go ahead with whoever stocks the OMD. Yesterday I was walking past GK Vale in CMG rd, and they did not happen to have it in stock. Claimed its not yet available in India. Anyways I just wanted to have my 1st glimpse of it.

re: Mirrorless or EVIL Cameras

Sony full frame Sensor Camera leaked information ahead of the Photokina 2012.

http://www.engadget.com/2012/09/09/s...-compact-body/

From the looks of it, looks like it has a fixed 35mm f 2.0 lens and a mountable EVF. Seems like this was the top secret and there is no new NEX announcement.

So here are the latest announcements from Sony:

Seems like the new Pancake 16-50mm power zoom lens comes as a kit lens with the NEX-6.

re: Mirrorless or EVIL Cameras

I am on the look out for evil cameras and still not decided between NEX-5N/R or olympus PL3.
How good is this news as now prices of older models are expected to fall?

Why not considering the NEX-6. It combines the niceties of the 5N / R and the NEX-7.

I heard that Amazon US offers $80 discounts on the NEX-7 and almost $200 on the NEX-5N.

Here is the link you can use to compare the Dynamic rang vs ISO of many cameras at once.

re: Mirrorless or EVIL Cameras

I am looking for a pocketable camera with excellent quality and possible flexibility. Olympus E-PL1 looks very affordable now. Considering that I will be keeping it with 14-42 lens most of the time and use it for pics and videos, is there a reason I should look at the newer models in the market?

I might look for tele lenses later but that's not a priority.
