Out of all these my favourite is Samsung Wave I. I was not happy with Jet and Windows Mobile for me is quite confusing.

Re: Which Smartphone OS do you use?

I've been using a WinMo for over a year now. Was using WM 6.1 on stock ROM for the last one year.

Have finally moved to WM 6.5 on a custom ROM with a WP7 interface shell, not really many apps but for this platform now. But it needs all my requirements. Though I wish to move to the Android platform in my next phone.

Might port Android onto current phone if I'm feeling a bit crazy some day.

Re: Which Smartphone OS do you use?

I am using two at present.

1. Blackberry OS6 (v6.0.0.285) on my Blackberry Bold 9780
2. Froyo v2.2 Android OS on my Samsung Galaxy Tab GT-P1000

And also have a Samsung Duos GT-C3222 but am clueless about its OS.

P.S.
Slightly OT as this is not a phone

iOS 4.1 (or is it 4.2) on my iPod Touch New Gen (with Twin Camera's)

Re: Which Smartphone OS do you use?

I have 3 different phones having 3 different OS currently that i am using. But the most used is Android based Galaxy S. The other two is iOS(iphone 4) and Maemo (n900).

Found android to be way better than other two. So voted for Android only.

Have been using Blackberry V4.5 for about a year now.

The other phone i have is good old Nokia Xpress Music. Cannot really call it a smart phone but perfectly suits basic requirements.

Re: Which Smartphone OS do you use?

moto milestone with android 2.3.2 (thanks to the devs at xda-developers.com)

PS : don't EVER buy a Motorola phone!! They're painfully slow at providing updates/fixes

Re: Which Smartphone OS do you use?

Guys,

How is "Bada" pronounced. In the same way as "bada" the Hindi word for Big OR "Bad"(a) the english word.

It is pronounced as "baadaa". Emphasis of d should not be much. It should be like in Hindi letter. Little bit it is unusual name but has quite relevance with its capability.

Re: Which Smartphone OS do you use?

Guys i am a bit new here-my experience has been limited to Symbian as i am a die-hard nokia fan!!

Recently one of my friend showed me a nokia n900 with the maemo 0s and he was raving about it!!considering i am planning to shift from symbian soon, would the maemo or an android based device be better for me?

i have a preference for the n900 due to the fact that i love nokia!!

I have both winmo and android on my phone. Only thing missing in android for now is camera support. Only thing better in android is app support.

But I still love the winmo interface. I have posted my fav apps in win-mo thread I created yesterday.

Re: Which Smartphone OS do you use?

I've been on various versions of Symbian for the past 11 years...Nokia 9210, SE P910i and now SE P1i.
Very contended with UIQ 3.
Very stable OS with ALL features cropping up in Smart Phones only now! Hand-writing recognition, ALL office features/audio/video, video calling with front-facing camera.
With HSPA now being available, and the P1i featuring only WCDMA for 3g, I feel the need to upgrade.
My next Smart-Phone: Samsung Galaxy S2 when it gets released - awesome features: Android 2.3, 8MP camera with full HD Video recording, 2 MP front facing camera, HSPA..the works!! Rumored to be priced around 25K.
I cannot believe I bought my first Smart phone, the Nokia 9210 (with data & fax capability - no gprs) for a princely sum of 45K those days!!
