Out of INDICA TURBO & INDICA XETA, which one is best?
yearly usage 6000 kms.
planning to keep for 4 to 5 years.

6k per year I presume. Xeta then. Cheaper too.
A Tata fan eh?

6000 km a year would mean the xeta is a better choice especially considering the price difference.go for the petrol-take a look at the getz and swift too if you dont insist on tata

Are you sure that you wanna buy one of the 2 tata cars??? Look around buddy there are much better cars that will suit you needs. Anyways if you are strictly considering only them then i would suggest you go in for the Indica Xeta for you kinda use.

Cheers

I think you should go for the Xeta rather than going for an Indica Turbo version.

Thanks a lot for your suggestions guys..
my main requirement is SPACE & FE.
3 should be comfortably placed in rare....
I was also looking @ wagon r & santro...
my mother didnt like wagon r..& also its designed for 2 @ rare..
santro...as per my personal experience..3 well built cant..be placed comfortably @ rare...
so..decided to go for TATA..which provides both...FE & space...
no other perticular reason...
Only one thing which is stopping me form going for TURBO is...
It will be standing idel for 5 days in a week..I take it out only during week ends...I am worried that..diesel engine will get spoiled..if its idel for so many days...
can you guys tell me..what happens to diesel engine if its standing idel for 5 days in a week?

No engine should stay idle (please note the spelling :) ) for 5 days a week, 52 weeks in a year. Any car should be run about 1~2 km daily. The Xeta is VFM considering the price you will get it at. But think about it. If you can afford the Turbo, then those highway drives may not pinch so much.
